Burial was in the Fort Cobb Cemetery under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home. Martin was born 17-Jan-1915 in Fort Cobb, Ok. to Willie Lee and Effie (Strickland) Martin. He married 12-Oct-1935 Dorothy Bernice Banks in Anadarko. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Cobb. He was engaged in farming and ranching for many years. He became a security guard from which he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, five brothers and one sister.
