Frances T. Mertian

CLAYTON, N.M. - Frances T. Mertian, 86, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today in Hass Funeral Home with the 
Rev. Andy Husted, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Mertian was born in Caddo County, Okla. She had lived in the Des 
Moines area for 26 years before moving to Clayton in 1994. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Jacob J. Mertian, in 1987, and by a son, 
Cheston Ramsey, in 1993.

Survivors include two sisters, LaVina Conyers and Novella Lowery, both of 
Salado, Texas; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
