All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Oddfellows Cemetery--Orland CA Glen Mcmahan Glen McMahan, age 89, passed away on June 9, 2007, in Chico, Calif. He was born in Apache, Okla., on April 19, 1918. Glen lived his life for Christ and fishing! He was proficient in playing the harmonica. His first and only CD was made in 2004 with his "signature" song of the "Race of the Model T and a Train". Other joys he included were reading Louis L'Amour novels, working crossword puzzles and playing cards. He was loved by many; and he will be missed by all. Glen was a Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Orland, Calif., and a member of the Orland Grange. He was retired. Glen was preceded in death by his first wife, Oleta. Glen is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Gloria of Orland; two sisters: Blanche Coffey of Texas and Becky Coffey of Alabama; "Adopted" son Bill Howe of Rancho Cordova; daughter, Sondra Hall of Orland; son, Duane McMahan of Brookings, Ore.; step-daughters, Norma and Bill Baker of Winston, Ore.; Helen Howe of Rancho Cordova; Mary Lou Mister of Covington, Ken.; stepson, Ray Norman of Kingman, Ariz.; granddaughters, Louise Lash of Santa Rosa, Kathy Walker of Orland, Cherish Hand of St. Petersburg, Alaska; grandsons: Patrick Walker of Reno, Nev.; Tom Walker of Capay, Calif., Rick McMahan of England, Ark., and Daniel McMahan of Attsburg, Pa. Glen is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2007, at 10 A.M., at the First Baptist Church of Orland. There will be private graveside services at Oddfellows Cemetery in Orland. F.D. Sweet & Son of Orland, Calif., is handling all the arrangements.
