Officiating was Charles Roberts. Services were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. Nixon was born 02-Oct-1907 in Gracemont to David Charles and Georgia (Price) Nixon. He married the former Leona Tingley. He resided most of his life in the Anadarko area. He graduated from Washita High School in 1926 and later from the Anadarko Business College. He was employed by the Carnegie Bank, and Conoco Oil Company. He resided in Ponca City, Kay County, Ok.; Kansas City, Mo. where he was employed as a bookkeeper; then Council Grove, Kansas. He and his family moved back to Anadarko where he owned and operated a produce business for approximately 30 years. He was then employed by the Pyramid Insurance Company and achieved the status of 'Million Dollar Man'. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Anadarko and Chickasha and was a charter member of the Anadarko Noon Lions Club. Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, George, Albin and Lloyd; two sisters, Marie Farmer Campbell and Dorothy Mannschreck, and two granddaughters.
