Amarillo Globe News 28 Jul 1999 Marcellus Nance DIMMITT - Marcellus Nance, 79, of Hart, died Sunday, July 25, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Ivey Chapel of Foskey-Lilley McGill Funeral Home in Dimmitt with Aaron Lee, minister of Hart Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery. Mr. Nance was born in Binger, Okla. He was a farmer and veteran of World War II. He married Lillie Fisher in 1943 at Georgetown. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Lillie Molden of Plainview, Barbara Watson of Pueblo, Colo., Helen Forester of Sacramento, Calif., and Ida Randon of Mesa, Ariz.; two sons, Marcellus Nance Jr. of Los Angeles and George Nance of Houston; four brothers, Leroy Nance and Hanslee Nance, both of Clovis, N.M., John Nance of Sudan and James Nance of Denver; two sisters, Fastine Jackson and Beulah Sumerall, both of Denver; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Caddo County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/caddo/caddo.html
