Interment was in the Fort Cobb Cemetery under direction of the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home of Carnegie. Mrs. Orrell was born March 21, 1912 southeast of Carnegie, Oklahoma in Caddo County, to Isaac and Jennie (POWELL) MARTIN and died Friday as the result of a car accident. She attended school at Spring Valley and graduated from Alden High School in 1930. She attended Southwestern State University and obtained a teacher's certificate. She married Ralph E. ORRELL in April of 1938 at Purcell. He preceded her in death Jan. 7, 1984. She taught school for several years and later was a cook in the Alden School, the Carnegie Nursing Home and the Carnegie Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Nazarene Church and had lived in Caddo County all her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ralph; four brothers George Martin, Charlie Martin, Roy Martin, and Loyd Martin; and one siter, Mary Giles.
