All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Posey, Norma Faye Norma Faye Posey, was born June 27, 1943 to Pearl & Steward Walsh in the Hinton Hospital. Norma departed this world on December 30, 2002 at the age of 59 at the Texoma Medical Center with her family at her side after enduring a long and courageous battle with cancer. Norma grew up in Binger, Oklahoma where she attended school and the First Baptist Church of Binger. Norma married her high school sweetheart Gene Posey on January 2, 1960 in Binger. Together they raised two daughters, Sonja Montgomery of Norman, OK and Starla Allen of Sulphur, OK. Three special grandchildren, J.D. and Jennifer Montgomery of Norman, OK and Seth Allen of Sulphur, OK gave much happiness to Norma. One grandchild Hunter Allen preceded Norma in death. After moving to OKC in 1960 Norma worked as a data entry operator for Liberty Bank and later was promoted to a programmer analyst. After 24 years of programming Norma and Gene moved to Kingston, OK in 1980 and Norma continued her banking career with First National Bank in Durant as a Personal Banker for 12 years. She left the bank taking a medical retirement. Norma is survived by many siblings, Grady Walsh of Bethany, OK, Christine Gaffney of Phoenix, AZ, Verna Clary of Ft. Cobb, OK and Doyle Ray Walsh of Paden, OK. Norma was preceded in death by her parents Pearl & Steward Walsh and brother Doyle Eugene Walsh. Graveside services will be Thursday, January 2, 2003, at 1:00 pm at the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, OK. Dan Clifton will officiate the services. Services under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, OK.
