PAHCODDY Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, June 27, at the family residence south of Fletcher for Mrs. Celso Pahcoddy, 62, who died early Tuesday morning at the hospital in Cyril following a heart attack. Officiating at the rites was Rev. Melvin Boydoile, pastor of the Indian Methodist Church. Burial was in the Washita Indian Cemetery east of Fletcher with Dalton Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Pahcoddy was born in Comanche county and reared east of Fletcher. She attended Anadarko and Fort Sill Indian Schools, and was married May 2, 1918. She was a member of the Indian Mission Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Larry in the U.S. Army at Fort Carson, Colo., and Wilford of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Tieyah of Fletcher, Mrs. Rosalee Bennett of Cement, and Mrs. Irene Permanau of Lawton, Ok.; two sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Wermy of Fletcher and Mrs. Marie Holder of Lawton, and one brother, Henry Lookinglass of Oklahoma City, Ok. =========== The Cyril News Thursday, June 28, 1956 MRS. PAHCODDY DIED TUESDAY OF HEART ATTACK Mrs. Mae Pahcoddy, Fletcher, died Tuesday morning at the Cyril hospital, where she was taken Monday night after she had suffered a heart attack.
