Officiating was Bro. Richard McPherson. A prayer service was held 21-Apr-2000 at the Smith Funeral Chapel in Anadarko. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Polk was born 20-Dec-1904 near Eufaula, Indian Territory to W.H. and Mary Ella (Hightower) Blackburn. She married O.B. Teeter 14-Aug-1922 in Poteau, LeFlore County, Ok. She married Edwin Polk in 1961 in Anadarko. Preceding her in death was her husband, Edwin Polk; one son, Kenneth Teeter; her parents; and one brother, Sherman Blackburn.
