Ponder on August 1, 1915 in Kentucky and passed from this life on January 7, 1965 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She was 49 years, 5 months, and 6 days of age. Margaret joined the Christian church as a young girl and enjoyed the fellowship she found there as a member. When a child, Margaret moved with her family to Cement, Oklahoma. This was in the year of 1919. In the year of 1922, she again moved with her parents to the Leedey area where she grew to womanhood. She lived briefly in Los Angeles, California and Wichita, Kansas and then moved to Dallas, Texas where she has maded her home for the past several years. Margaret leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Mrs. T.J. Ponder of Hammon, Oklahoma, 3 sisters, Elizabeth Johnson of Alpaugh, California, Viola Mae Goodman, of Dallas, Texas, and Virginia Champlin of Cedarvale, Kansas; 3 brothers, Thomas of Hammon, Rodney of Sacramento, Claifornia, and Robert of Dallas; other dear relatives and many friends.
