Perry died Wednesday, 08-Nov-2000 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha, Ok. from injuries he received in an auto accident. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Perry was born 11-Sep-1972 in Brockton, Mass. to William R. and Phyllis S. (Ellis) Perry. Perry grew up in Brockton and attended school there. He had been employed at Arvin (Gabriel) Industries in Chickasha since May of 1999. He was an avid fisherman and loved to play with his children. Preceding him in death was his oldest brother, George Daggett, who died 08-Nov-1982 in an auto accident; and his grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Alishia (Johnson) Perry of the home; two daughters, Destiny and Shania Perry, both of Anadarko and another daughter due to be born in March of 2001; his parents of Anadarko; five brothers, Craig Perry and William Perry, both of Anadarko, Phillip Daggett, Brian Perry and Dana Daggett, all of Brocton, Mass.; five sisters, Phyllis Catton and Brenda Denton, both of Anadarko, Jean Rose Brockway of Englewood, Fla., Michelle Post of Brockton and Georgia Rock of Tennessee. The Anadarko Daily News Thursday, November 9, 2000 CITY RESIDENT KILLED IN PILEUP NEAR CHICKASHA Daniel Perry, 28, of Anadarko was killed Wednesday when his car collided with others 2.5 miles west of Chickasha on U.S. 62. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated Perry's car went out of control at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday and collided with an oncoming car. Perry died at Grady Memorial Hospital from trunk and internal wounds. Perry was on his way home from work at the time of the accident. His westbound car collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by Daniel Daily, 34, of Anadarko. Daily was treated for minor injuries at Grady Memorial Hospital and released. His passenger, George Vasquez, 34, of Anadarko, was transferred to University Hospital in Oklahoma City with a broken vertbrae in his neck, broken sternum and injury to his spleen and spine. According to the report, filed by OHP Officer David Miner, seatbelts were equipped and not in use in both vehicles. Funeral services for Perry are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Steverson Funeral Home Chapel in Anadarko. Burial will follow in Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home. Perry was born Sept. 11, 1972 in Brockton, Mass. He grew up and attended school there.
