All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Morna Ree Parks Morna Ree Parks, 76, of Amarillo, died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday with Mr. Bill Goodwin of East Amarillo Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mrs. Parks was born in Lakeview and graduated from Cement High School in Cement, Okla., in 1941. She moved to Amarillo from Oklahoma City in 1985, when she retired from the U.S. Civil Service. While living in Amarillo, she was a member of Amarillo Church of Christ and commuted to Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock, where she was employed. She was active with the church and with youth organizations. Survivors include two brothers, E.J. Parks of San Antonio and Clyde Harold Parks of Amarillo; and three sisters, Ima Lee Popp of Sharon Springs, Kan., Willie Mae DuBois of Lubbock and Minnie Bell Settle of Russell, Kan.
