Roberts, a former resident of Anadarko, died Tuesday, 07-Nov-2000 in Sand Springs, Tulsa county, Ok. Officiating was the Rev. Bob Settle. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Chapel of Anadarko. Mrs. Roberts was born 07-Jan-1935 in Anadarko, Ok. to Lawrence and Edna (Aldredge) Winn. She married Alvin M. Roberts 22-Dec-1983 in Sand Springs, Ok. She was born on the Riverside Indian Reservation in Anadarko and lived in Caddo county for 17 years. She was a graduate of Verden High School at Verden, Grady county, Ok. After graduation she moved to Lawton, Ok. and was employed by the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company from which she retired after 27 years. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Sapulpa, Creek county, Ok. Preceding her in death was her first husband, Carl Conn, and her father. Survivors include her husband, Alvin, of the home; her mother; one son, Robert Wayne Conn of Sand Springs, Ok.; one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Jean and Floyd Burton of Kellyville, Ok.; five grandchildren-- Jason, Brian, Ryan, Marc and Melodie; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Alene and Bob Settle of Anadarko, Ok., Naome and Gerald Coleman of Chickasha, Ok., Beverly and Ray Adams of Anadarko, Ok., and Nina Ferris of Verden, Ok., and one stepson, Steve R.
