Reece, 77, of Ripon, died Monday, May 17th, 1999, at Doctors Medical Center, Modesto, California. Mr. Reece was a native of HINTON, OKLAHOMA. He was a contract carrier for the MODESTO BEE for 27 years. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Ripon. He is survived by his wife, Alberta L. Reece of Ripon; children, Randy Reece, Daniel Prater and Robert Prater, all of Modesto, Pamela Fields of Moccasin, Larry Prater of Fresno, and Michael H. Prater and David Prater, both of Ripon; brother, Harold L. Reece of Valley Home; and 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
