Estelle Reid Apache-- Services for Estelle Reid, 93, of Apache were to be held at 2 pm today in the First Baptist Church of Apache. Mrs. Reid died Sunday in the Cyril Mursing Home following an extended illness. Rev. Ray Wood, pastor of the church, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Fairview Cemetery with the Crews Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Reid was born January 10, 1882 in Waxahachie, Texas She was married to Jess Reid July 8, 1903 at Waxahachie. He died in 1960. Mrs. Reid came to the Apache area in 1930 from Altus. She and her husband farmed near Apache until his retirement in 1958. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Eldred of Flint, Michigan, Mrs. Mary Orza of Flagler Beach, Florida, Mrs. Connie Winters of Vernon, Texas and Mrs. Jenieve Booth of Crescent; three sons, Jack of Los Angeles, California, Paul and Clyde of Apache; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchidlren; and eight great, great grandchldren. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Caddo County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/caddo/caddo.html
