Scott Hamilton officiating. Interment was in Hinton Cemetery with Hinton-Turner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born August 17, 1933 in Oklahoma City to Herbert and Dorothy (Lockhart) Alsup, she died Monday, Dec. 11 at the Parkview Hospital in El Reno. She was raised in Oklahoma City and had lived in Murray County since 1986 before moving to El Reno in 2005. She married James Ramey on August 23, 1969 in Dallas, Texas. Jean was a member of the DAV Auxiliary and the Hinton First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jim Ramey, of the home, El Reno; two sons, Jimbo Ramey and wife, Rhonda, Mustang and Peter Ramey and wife, Teresa, Holland, Iowa; three daughters, Cindy Ramey Bluford, Lawton, Benita Ramey Beesley and husband, R.O., Davis, and Jamie Ramey, of the home, El Reno; one son in law, Tony Bluford, Tulsa; nine grand children and four great grand children.
