Shiffler June 07, 2000 Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday 09-Jun-2000 in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery for Charles W. Shiffler, 83, of Ada who died 07-Jun-2000 at a local hospital. Officiating at the service was Rev. Samuel Riccobene. Services were under the direction of the Criswell Funeral Home of Ada. Shiffler was born 08-Jun-1916 in Fulton, Missouri to Charles F. and Georgia Jo (Wise) Shiffler. He married the former Kathryn Brewer in 1940. He grew up in Hams Prairie, Mo. and attended Westminister College in Fulton. He received a civil engineering degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He moved to Ada from Anadarko in 1980. He was a member of the Ada Lions Club and the Elks. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ada. Preceding him in death was one son, Charles W. Shiffler, Jr. 11-Sep- 1984.
