All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Azleland Cemetery--Azle TX Sperber, Dasie Wretha Dasie Wretha Sperber, 79, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, at a Breckenridge nursing home after a yearlong battle with lung cancer. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday in White's Azle Chapel. Burial: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: Mrs. Sperber will be in state 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Dasie was born June 29, 1926, in Carnegie, Okla. She married Merle B. Sperber Sr. in 1942 and had five children. Dasie was a special favorite at the nursing home, offering lots of hugs, but sometimes "a surprise" when she was feeling a little ornery. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed very much. Dasie was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years. Survivors: Her children, Barbara Prine of Springtown, Shirley Francis and husband, Ken, of Fort Worth, Merle Sperber Jr. and wife, Sally, of Cloudland, Ga., Linda Sperber and husband, Robert, of Breckenridge and Gary Sperber of Weatherford; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
