All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Fairview Cemetery--Apache OK Lawton Constitution 20 Apr 2003 Cleo Setzer APACHE — Funeral for 85, Apache, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Apache with the Rev. Leon Shade, pastsor, officiating. Mrs. Setzer died Friday, April 19, 2003 at her home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Apache, under direction of Crews Funeral Home, Apache. She was born June 12, 1918, in Alfalfa to Matthew and Audie Reese. She married John Alvin Setzer on June 23, 1937 in Hobart. He died March 25, 1968. She moved from Carnegie to Apache in 1944. She worked as a cook for many years at Porter Hill Café, Richard Spur Café, Stony Point School and Boone School. She retired in the 1980's. She was a past member of the Apache Rattlesnake Association and the Apache Community Building Board. She was a member of First Church of Apache. Survivors include a daughter, Sue Edwards, Carnegie; two sons: J. A. "Buck" Setzer and James Setzer, both of Apache; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
