Stidham Albert William Stidham died Sunday evening at his home at 1004 South Avenue A. He was 59 years old and was an electrician. He had lived in Portales, New Mexico since 1943. Mr. Stidham was a member of the Baptist Church and the funeral will be at the West Side Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 with burial in the Floyd Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Kennedy and the Rev. Weldon Frazor will be in charge of the services. Mr. Stidham was married in Anadarko, Caddo County, Ok. in 1924 to Daisy Fields. He was born July 8, 1904 in Erick, Beckham County, Ok. He is survived by his wife, Daisy (Fields) Stidham; his mother, Mrs. Mary Stidham; sons and daughters, Ervin Stidham of Roswell, N.M., Mrs. Helen Leonora Pearson of Clovis, N.M., A.W. Stidham, Jr. of the home, Mrs. Viola Howard of Alameda, N.M., Mrs. Floyd Cooper of Enid, Ok., Mrs. Ellen Elmer of Tulsa, Ok.; brothers Dell Stidham of Cyril, Ok., Alfred and Leonard Stidham of Anadarko, Ok., Amos Stidham of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Delmus 'Dee' Stidham of Hiwasse, Ark.; and 13 granchildren.
