Ms. Stamey, 48, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. died Friday, 13-Apr-2001 in Midwest City, Ok. Officiating was Father Price Oswalt. A prayer service was held Monday, 16-Apr-2001, at St. Patrick's. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Anadarko. Pallbearers were Lyndreth L. 'Tugger' Palmer, Darwin P. Palmer, Sr., Randy Palmer, Michael Underwood, John Dailey and Darren Dailey. She was born 14-Sep-1952 in Lawton to Arthur Wallace Sr. and Mary Ruth (Palmer) Stamey. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Kiowa Tribe. Preceding her in death were her parents; her grandparents, William 'Choctaw Bill' Palmer and Clara Mopope Palmer and one uncle, George Palmer. Survivors include her companion, Larry Campbell of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; three daughters, Shelly Stamey and Michael Korns, both of Midwest City and Sarah Roope of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; one son, Andrew Meade of Virginia; five grandchildren, Jesse, Jermey, Justin, Fallon and Jaden; two brothers, Arthur Stamey and Harvey West Jr.; one sister, Teresa Williams; three aunts, Dorthy Palmer, Lorranine Palmer and Chlotiea Palmer; and two uncles, Gus Palmer Sr. and Dixon Palmer. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Caddo County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/caddo/caddo.html
