Officiating was Rev. Sharon Gomez and Rev. Andrew Ware. Burial followed in the Memory Lane Cemetery at Anadarko under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home. Stumblingbear was born 13-Sep-1927 in Anadarko to Glen and Pearl Stumblingbear. He married the former Tina Lou Ware 01-Mar-1971 in Vernon, Texas. He resided in the Anadarko and Apache Wye area attending school in Anadarko. He graduated from Bacone School in Muskogee, Muskogee county, Ok. He took a printing course at Oklahoma A&M Trade School. He entered the United States Army 18-Dec-1945 and graduated from the Surveying School at Fort Beloir, Va. He received the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal. He was discharged 01-May-1947. He entered the United States Air Force 26-May-1955 where he served with the Strategic Air Command for almost four years. He worked as a surveyor for the United States Civil Engineers following his discharge on 25-Feb-1959. He worked for a printing shop in Oklahoma City, Ok. for several years before returning to Anadarko where he worked at Hollytex Carpet Mill. He retired from there in 1982 after 20 years employment. He was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and the J.J. Methvin United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Leatrice Doyeto.
