All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Becker Funeral Home 13 Feb 2005 Stamper, Gayla Sue (Brodhead) Age 55, Clinton, Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM Friday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Fortenberry, pastor of East Paris Baptist Church in Paris, Texas officiating. Mrs. Stamper died Sunday in an Oklahoma City hospital. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born June 19, 1949 in Portales, New Mexico. She worked as an LPN for McMahon-Tomlinson Nursing Home, and as an RN for Comanche County Memorial and Southwestern Hospitals in the ICU Department. She was a graduate of Great Plains Area Vocational Technical School. She also graduated with honors from Cameron University with an associates degree in nursing. She retired to ranching in 1989. She married Johnny C. Brodhead on June 8, 1973 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He died in 1983. She married Billy R. Stamper on November 17, 1999 in Arapaho. Survivors include her husband, of the home, five children; Donnie Trevino, Lawton, Scott Hearne and his wife Kristi, Paris, Texas, John Brodhead, Altus, Jason Stamper and his wife Kay, Yukon, and Jennifer Kirkley and her husband Will, Kingfisher, two brothers; William Don Wilson, Atlanta, Georgia, and Freddy Wilson, Walters, a sister Betty Boydstun, Lawton, fourteen grandchildren; Clinton Trevino, Scott Hearne, Jr. Jason Glover, Amanda Hearne, Jordan Rhoads, Keith Rhoads, Cody Trevino, Valerie Trevino, Brandon Stamper, Kelsey Stamper, Kari Stamper, Aaron Kirkley, Steven Kirkley, and Sarah Brodhead, and a great grandson; Haydin Lane Young.
