Seal, Billy BILLY SEAL AUG. 31, 1927 - JAN. 3, 2007 Billy Seal, 79, passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. He was born in Cement, OK. Billy worked for the American Can Company in Modesto for many years. Before coming to California he was a Production Expediter for the Army Ordinance Depot in Ord Way, CO. After he retired he worked for the San Francisco Chronicle and the 20/20 Recycle Centers. He lived in and around Modesto area for 60 years. He was a member of Cavalry Temple Assembly of God. He loved to read, always had a book nearby and in his younger days did a lot of golfing. He is survived by his sons, Norman Seal of Modesto, Tyler Seal of Lemoore, David Seal of Ceres; daughters, Linda Cash and Rebecca Cheney of Modesto. Brothers, Elmer Seal of Texas, Dale Seal of Placerville, Ted Seal of Kansas; sister, Jan Snow of Washington; 14 grand children and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; his daughter, Beverly Freeman and his parents, Tyler and Enza Seal of Empire. A visitation and service was held Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 at Lakewood Funeral Home, burial immediately followed the service at Lakewood Memorial Park.
