Officiating was Dr. John Dugger, pastor. Burial was in the Cement Cemetery under the direction of the Sevier Funeral Home. Salyer was born 11-Jan-1915 in Oney, Caddo county, Ok. to Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Salyer. He married Gerri Barton in Portales, New Mexico. He retired in January of 1985 after 39 years with Marathon Oil Company. He was production supervisor over Oklahoma at the time of his retirement. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Preceding him in death were his parents; and two brothers, Clint and Don.
