Officiating was Rev. Floyd Doughty, pastor of the Square Top Baptist Church of rural Anadarko. He was assisted by Rev. David Forester, Director of Caddo County Baptist Missions. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery at Apache, Ok. under the direction of the Crews Funeral Home of Apache. Mr. Smith was born 30-May-1893. He lived in the Stecker community, southwest of Anadarko. Preceding him in death was his wife. Survivors include two sons, one daughter, Kathryn Smith Williams of Anadarko (deceased); three sisters, Olive Robertson of Hydro, Sarah Young of Houston, Texas and Leah Oldham of Longview, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. --------------------------------------------------------------------
