All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Fort Sill National Cemetery--Elgin OK Lawton Constitution 16 Nov 2003 Clyde Walter Smallwood APACHE - Funeral for Clyde Walter Smallwood, 76, Apache, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Apache, with the Rev. Richard Mayer, pastor, officiating. Mr. Smallwood died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, in Cyril. Burial will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery under direction of Crews Funeral Home. He was born Aug. 18, 1927, in Stecker to Charles H. and Ludie M. Smallwood. He married Betty Ann Koehn on June 28, 1952, in Chickasha. He worked 17 years as a mechanic for Malone Ford in Fletcher and Apache. He also owned and operated the Champlin Station and Garage and Smallwood's Car Wash in Apache for many years. He was a veteran of the Army, having served in Germany during and after World War II. He lived in Apache most of his life and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Apache. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons: Donald Wayne Smallwood and his wife, Lorie; and John W. Smallwood, all of Blanchard; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three brothers: Floyd Smallwood, Apache; Willis Smallwood, Bristow; and Charles Smallwood, Concord, Calif.; two sisters: Grace Myers, Lakeland Addition; and Laveta Isom, Apache; an uncle, Bruce Smallwood, Fletcher; and numerous nieces and nephews. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Caddo County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/caddo/caddo.html
