All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 9 March 2005 JERRY RAY SKINNER Jerry Ray Skinner, 64, long time Carnegie resident, passed from this life on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born to Melvin Lee and LeNora (Schmidt) Skinner on February 25, 1941 in Carnegie, OK. Jerry attended school at Mtn. View. He was united in marriage to Else Albino, on May 6, 1997 in the Philippines, from this union was born one son, He had four sons from a previous marriage. He was a farmer and did custom harvesting. He and his sons ran Skinner Brothers Harvesting for many years. Jerry enjoyed raising goats and being in the outdoors. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. View Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Else, of the home; five sons, Raylon Jay of the home, Dodai Skinner, and wife Michelle, of Verden, OK, Darin Skinner of Carnegie, OK, Deland Skinner of Carnegie, OK, Dale Skinner, and wife Melody, of Lewistown, MT; one stepdaughter, Christy Thompson of Elgin, OK; 14 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis Skinner, and wife Sandy, of Carnegie, OK, Gaylon Skinner, and wife Karen, of Colony, OK; one sister-in-law, Shirley Skinner of Carnegie, OK; and one stepsister, Marisa Skinner of Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin and LeNora Skinner and one brother, Arden Lee Skinner. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Carnegie Cemetery or to the fund set up at The Farmers Bank, Carnegie, OK. Services will be Wednesday, March 9th at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Carnegie. Burial is to follow at the Carnegie Cemetery.
