Helen L. Takacs

Helen L. Takacs, 73, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, June 25, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 
Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 Bell St., with Dr. G.A. Roach, director of 
pastoral care at Northwest Texas Hospital, officiating. Burial will be in 
Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Takacs was born in Anadarko, Okla. She married John Takacs in 1944 at 
San Antonio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Women of the Moose 
No. 1150 and of San Jacinto Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two brothers, Al Wilson of Amarillo and 
Jeff Wilson of Slaton; four sisters, Bernadeane Figgins, Frances Morrison 
and Pat Smith, all of Amarillo, and Betty Hughes of Borger.
