Officiating was Rev. Travis Wollenberg, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Apache. Burial was in the Fort Cobb Cemetery under the direction of the Crews Funeral Home. Mrs. Tate was born 14-Nov-1908 in Snowball, Arkansas. She married Loyd Lee Tate 22-Oct-1926 in El Reno, Canadian county, Ok. She came to Caddo County in a covered wagon in 1919. She and her husband lived in Fort Cobb until moving to California in the late 1930's. They moved to Richard's Spur, Comanche county, Ok. in 1944 and to Apache in 1959. She was a charter member of the Richard's Spur Baptist Church and was a member of the Apache Senior Citizens Center. Preceding her in death was her husband.
