MILDRED THOMPSON

GRACEMONT -  Graveside services for Mildred M. Thompson, 73, of Gracemont 
will be held at 2:30 today in the Gracemont Cemetery with Bro. Mike 
Sturgell officiating.

Thompson was born August 7, 1925 in Okemah to James and Lily Brasher and 
died Tuesday, February 16, 1999 at the Grace Living Center in Chickasha.

She married James Everett Thompson, September 9, 1948 in Yuma, Arizona.  
He preceded her in death January 22, 1993 in Oklahoma City.

She was also preceded in death by her parents;  one son,  Joe Thompson;  
and two brothers,  Bobby and J.B. Brasher.

She moved to Gracemont in 1970 from Buckeye, Arizona.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gracemont.

Survivors include three daughters,  Patt Sernas and  Sheila McCathern, 
both of Gracemont, and  Nancy Church of Cement;  four sons and daughters-
in-law,  Donny and Darla Thompson of Hinton,  Jim and Kathy Thompson of 
Yukon,  Jerry and Linda Miller of Phoenix, Arizona,  and  Jerry and Linda 
Miller of Phoenix, Arizona;  11 grandchildren,  Brett,  Shane,  Michael,  
Deneen,  Paul,  Norman,  Brian,  Jamie,  tina,  Shad,  Amy and  Cassie;  
seven great-granchildren;  three sisters,  Nellie and  Nancy, both of 
California and  Benita of New Mexico,  and one brother,  Leslie Brasher of 
California.

Burial will be under the direction of Hinton-Turner Funeral Home of 
Hinton.
