All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 3 Nov 2003 Lilly Evelyn Thompson Funeral for Lilly Evelyn Thompson, 65, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Cache Road Baptist Church with Dr. William Sprague, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Thompson died Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, in an Oklahoma City hospital. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born Jan. 1, 1938, in Anadarko to W.C. and Julia Sterling Johnson. She married Kenneth Thompson on June 9, 1953, in Anadarko. She worked for Lasandra's Nursing and Maternity shop in Lawton before retiring as a clerk. She was a member of Cache Road Baptist Church where she taught third and fourth grade Sunday School and served on various committees. Survivors include her husband, of the home; three daughters: Dianne Robinson and her husband, Freeman, Justin, Texas; Debbie Sinderson and her husband, Steve, Cache; and Sally Daniel, Lawton; nine grandchildren: Michael, Christina, Erika, Michelle, Nicole, Natalie, Lee, Corey and Donte; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters: Dorothy Henderson and her husband, John and Ellen Ferguson, all of Lawton; and Bessie Capes and her husband, Walter, Waurika; and several nieces and nephews.
