Officiating at the service was Rev. A.L. Swagerty of Fletcher. Burial was in the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home of Fletcher. Thomason was born 25-Sep-1922 in Randlett, Cotton County, Ok. to Paul and Eula (Wardlaw) Thomason. He married Almeda in 1957. After her death in December of 1987 he married the former Waldine Love in Miami 09-Mar-1990. He came to Fletcher as a child in 1925. He graduated from Fletcher High School in 1942. He then joined the United States Navy, retiring in 1962 as a Chief Petty Officer. He moved back to Fletcher and worked as a custodian for the Fletcher Schools for 10 years. He moved to Aurora, Mo. in 1982, moving to Cyril in 1990. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fletcher. Preceding him in death was his wife Almeda Thomason, his parents, three sisters and four brothers.
