The funeral service for Laura Elizabeth Trudeau will be at 1 p.m. 
Thursday at Conger-Morris Chapel in Medford. Pastor Everett Lobaugh 
of New Life Church of God will officiate. A reception will follow in 
the Conger-Morris Reception Room. Interment will be at 10 a.m. 
Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Grass Valley, Calif.

Mrs. Trudeau, 87, of Medford, died Sunday (Aug. 5, 2001) in Medford.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rogue Valley Medical Center 
Foundation, Hospice, 2600 Siskiyou Blvd., Suite 100, Medford, OR 
97504.

She was born May 18, 1914, in Cyril, Okla., the daughter of Clarence 
and Effie Evans. She lived in Grass Valley, Calif., in the late 1950s 
and early '60s with her first husband, Bud Looper. In 1965, she 
married Edward Trudeau, who preceded her in death. They moved to the 
Rogue Valley in 1966 from Grass Valley.

Mrs. Trudeau was a homemaker and a Christian.

She enjoyed fishing and crocheting.

Survivors include a son, Delmar Looper, Medford; a daughter, Betty Jo 
Jacobsen, Medford; a brother, Roy Evans, Modesto, Calif.; 13 
grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-
grandchildren.

Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7:30 p.m. today at Conger-
Morris Funeral Home in Medford.
