A wonderful daughter, sister and aunt. Aunt Sissie was born a quadriplegic, living her entire life time in a wheelchair. In 1920, her family moved from Hinton to Oklahoma City. She went to William Jennings Bryan School for Crippled Children, graduating from the 12th grade. After graduation she devised a method of oil painting. Being a nature lover, she loved to do florals and landscapes, she also did portrait tinting for a commercial photographer. Later in life she and her mother were Foster Parents. Never before has Foster Children been given to someone in her condition; however, she has taken as many as 12 hard case Foster Children at one time, with successful results, receiving many letters of praise from the agencies she worked with. She was the stability of the entire family. Sissie was a self made person, and had managed her life in such a manner that when her Mother and constant companion passed away, she maintained her independence with the help of a live in health care worker. She was an extremely brilliant person that had the remarkable ability of assessing any situation and coming up with the proper solution. At sometime during her life every person in our family has gone to Sissie with a difficult situation and she has been extremely helpful and inventive in coming up with a solution. We are all far better off for listening to her and taking her advise. Sissie was preceded in death by her parents. A great niece, and a great grand nephew. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Albert Doolin. The two 'joys of her life', her nephews and their wives; Robert and Caroline White, and Karl and Beverly White. One great nephew and four great nieces, thirteen great grand nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Sunny Lane Cemetery, SE 29th and Sunnylane Rd. in Del City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher Reeves Foundation. Baggerley Funeral Home 930 S.
