All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Oakmont Memorial Park--Oakdale CA Trammell, Billy Billy Bruce Trammell Resident of Concord Billy Bruce Trammell, age 82, passed away at John Muir Medical Center in Concord on Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Billy was born December 11, 1924 in Gracemont, Oklahoma, a son of Troy and Anna Dee Trammell. He has been a resident of Contra Costa County since 1942, and has lived in the same house in Concord for the past 57 years. Billy worked as an Operating Engineer for Local #3 since 1951. Billy's main interest was his family and his church, the Church of Christ in Walnut Creek, where he worked frequently with the Senior Group and was very good at helping and visiting the elderly. He also volunteered his time for many years at Opportunity Camp, a summer youth camp sponsored by many Churches. Until his recent illness, his hobbies included staying fit at the gym, bike riding, and in earlier years horsemanship. Billy will be missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Bonnie L. Trammell of Concord; by his beloved daughters, Linda Cooper and her husband Gary of Clarkston, WA, Brenda Jaques and her husband Loren of Salyer, CA, and Lana Richardson of Calistoga, CA; by his loving sisters, Dorothy Wilson of Russellville, AR, and Judy Johnson of Byron, CA; by his beloved brothers, Ray Trammell of Corning, CA, and Doyle Trammell of Brentwood, CA; by his adoring grandchildren, Cathy Jones, Tracey Morse, Kelly Brown, Mark Jaques, and Dana Grigg; and by 12 adored great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord, and from 2- 3 p.m., Sunday, March 25 at the Walnut Creek Church of Christ, 500 Minert Road, Walnut Creek. The funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 25 at the Church. Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday, March 26 at in Lafayette.
