Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Philip Daniels, retired Nazarene minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Military rites by Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 26. Mr. Underwood was born in Gracemont, . He came to Amarillo in 1955 from Anadarko, Okla. He married Lela Mae White in 1949 at Wichita Falls. She preceded him in death. Mr. Underwood was a tile setter and an Army veteran of World War II, where he served with the military police. Survivors include a son, Thomas Underwood of Amarillo; three daughters, Janet Conley, Sue Sustaita and Judy Ward, all of Amarillo; a brother, Glen Dale Underwood of Wills Point; a sister, Deloris Eddy of Lawton, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
