VOIGT The body of William Voigt, who died at 6 o'clock Sunday night at the G. W. Mindemann home northeast of Apache, will be buried in the Lutheran cemetery at Apache following services at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Apache home. Mr. Voigt was 88 years, 9 months and 24 days, the last survivor of his family. He was born June 18, 1848 in Carnitz, Germany, and joined the Lutheran church at an early age. In 1871, he was married to Ernestina Behl. Two children born to them died at an early age. In 1876, the family came to the United States, and settled in Wisconsin. Seven years later they moved to Iowa, and in 1901 in Union City, Okla. Since 1910, Mr. Voigt had lived in the Apache community. Survivors include Mr. Voigt's three adopted children, Mrs. G. W. Mindemann, Apache; Robert Voigt, Whittemore, Iowa; and Mrs. Clara Leus, Pocasset. Nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive --------------------------------------------------------------------
