"Sandy" Waugh, 60, of Fort Cobb were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Feb 17, 1999 in the First Baptist Church of Fort Cobb. Burial was in the Fort Cobb Cemetery under direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home. Mr. WAUGH was born in Wheeler, TX on Aug. 30, 1938, the son of Ennis "Pete" Pierson WAUGH and Ama (ROTHMEYER) WAUGH and died Monday at his home in Fort Cobb. The family came to Oklahoma when he was an infant and they lived in several places. He was a 1957 graduate of Cowden High School. Sandy was married to Sue Jean SMITH at Sentinel on Aug. 3, 1959. The WAUGHS lived in Sentinel for several years after their marriage. They came to Fort Cobb in 1981 from Elk City and had also lived in Clinton and Cordell. He was a member of the Fort Cobb Church of Christ, the Lions Club and was co-owner of Wa-Whoo Grocery and Station. He had been in some phase of the grocery business during most of his working life. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
