ELSIE WICKER Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie L. Wicker, 92, were Monday in the Wentworth Mortuary chapel with Elder Ralph Carter officiaitng. Burial followed in the Carmen City Cemetery. Mrs. Wicker died in a Kingman, Kansas hospital Friday. She was born December 20, 1889 at Valley Falls, Kansas, the daughter of Andrew and Jinnie Faulk. The family moved to Oklahoma at the opening of the Cherokee Strip. She married Claude Wicker on March 15, 1908 in Helena, and the couple lived in the Helena-Goltry area until they moved to Carmen. She was a member of Past Nobel Grand Social Club and the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Laatter-Day Saints. She lived in Cheney, Kansas, with her granddaughter the past year. She is survived by her granddaughter, Mrs. Ed (Sandra) Needham of Cheney; a grandson, Robert Wicker of Lakin, Kansas; an adopted grandson, Bradley Keith Wicker; four great grandchildren.
