Shane Hall officiating. Mrs. Waterbury died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at a Phoenix, Ariz., hospital. Arrangements are by Crews Funeral Home, Apache. She was born March 23, 1923, in Apache to Wanda and Virgil O. Tucker. She married Dr. Ray Waterbury on Dec. 20, 1942. Survivors include two daughters: Charlotte Phillips, Big River, Calif.; and Cindy Blackney, Colorado Springs, Colo; two sons: Jack Waterbury, Thomasville, Ga.; and Kenny Waterbury, Chicago; five grandchildren: Teresa Hubble, Anchorage, Alaska; Ed Phillips, Owasso; Will Phillips, Mineral, Va.; Evan Blackney, Colorado Springs; and Joe Waterbury, Tallahassee, Fla.; five great-grandchildren; two sisters: Virginia Darnell, Apache; and Dorothy Ann Smith, Front Royal, Va.; a sister-in-law, Imogene Moore, Apache; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Apache First Christian Church, Apache Nutritional Center or the organization of the donor’s choice.
