(from The Anadarko Daily News of November 18, 2005) Perry, Okla -- Services for MayBelle Wolfenberger, 92, of Oklahoma City will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at the First United Methodist Church in Perry with the Rev. Ed Cook officiating. Mrs. Wolfenberger was born June 8, 1913 in Loco [Okla] to Edgar Eugene and Lillie (Lowery) Poe and died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005 at the Grace Living Center in Bethany. She and Ralph Wolfenberger were married on May 29, 1932 in Anadarko. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, two sisters and one grandchild, Judy Thompson. Mrs. Wolfenberger loved to garden and raised vegetables and roses. She also enjoyed baking bread. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Perry. She and her husband owned and operated gas stations in Anadarko and Woodward. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Thompson and her husband Jim, of Perry, and Judy Reichard and her husband, Jim, of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Steven Thompson and his wife Lynn of Cimarron, Kansas, Teresa Ann Jones and her husband Buddy, of Perry, Jamie Thompson, and Max Reichard and his wife, Peggy, all of Tulsa, Mike Thompson and his wife, Kim, of Stillwater, and Carla Reichard Mokhtari and her husband Kouider, of Oxford, Ohio; 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
