Willis died Monday 27-Nov-2000 at the Mustang Nursing Center in Mustang, Ok. Burial arrangements are under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home in Lone Wolf, Ok. Willis was born 24-Aug-1923 northwest of Carnegie, Ok. to Jasper Bethel and Clementine (Marshall) Willis. He married the former Myrtle Chastain 28-May-1949 in Anadarko. He attended school at Sickles, Ok. and served in the United States Army, entering service 30-May-1945 at Oklahoma City, Ok. He received the Army of Occupation Ribbon (Germany), the Victory Ribbon and one Overseas Service Bar. He was honorably discharged 20-Nov-1946 at Fort Sam Houston, Tx. He was employed as a school custodian for 14 years at Burns Flat, Ok. and for the same period of time at Anadarko. He was a member of the Baptist church. Preceding him in death was one daughter, Deborah Kay Rudder on 16- Aug-1998; his parents; six brothers and four sisters.
