She was born in Fort Cobb, OK to George and Mollie (Rapp) Patton on Nov. 16, 1918. Thelma was a graduate of Southwestern State Teachers College in Weatherford, OK, an elementary school teacher in the Mid-Del School System for 40 years, member of the OEA, NEA, Order of the Eastern Star, Alpha Delta Kappa and First Southern Baptist Church of Del City. She is survived by a son, Eldon R. Walsh, Jr. of Oklahoma City; 2 daughters, Jane Ann Seiboldt of Richardson, TX and Judy Mae Stoyanoski of Midwest City; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Donalee Cypert of Midwest City; Marjorie Rackley of Oklahoma City; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, E.R. 'Pat' Walsh and a brother, Virgil Patton. Services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2002 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with Rev., Bill Spain officiating. Burial is in Sunny Lane Cemetery.
