All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ The Chickasha Express-Star 23 December 2003 IRENE WILSON Funeral service for Irene Wilson, 93, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 24, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Irene Wilson was born May 23, 1910, in Oney, Oklahoma, the daughter of Willie Lee and Effie Mae (Strickland) Martin, and died December 22, 2003, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mrs. Wilson lived in Ft. Cobb and Anadarko Before moving to Chickasha in 1956. She and Leroy Wilson were married July 18, 1931, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1970. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church for over 40 years and was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class. She was also preceded in death by: Infant son, Stanley Clark Wilson; 3 grandchildren: Ronda Sue Clark Elliott, Charles Dewayne Clark, Timothy Wayne Hayes; parents; 1 sister and 6 brothers. Survivors include: 2 sons: Roy Wilson of Ft. Cobb, Edward Bruce Wilson and wife, Letha, of Ft. Cobb; 6 daughters: Gala Sue Graham and husband, George, of Chickasha, Laretta Frizell of Chickasha, Wanda Clark and husband, Charles, of Cement, Patsy Banks of Chickasha, Cindy Carnes of Bradley, Linda Wilson of Chickasha; 1 sister: Mary Lue McClure and husband, G. W., of Verden; 24 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 2 brothers-in-law: Junior Wilson of Fremont, California, Olen Wilson of Drumright, Oklahoma; 4 sisters-in-law: Deda Mae Wilson of Oklahoma City, Dorothy Martin of Chickasha, Jean Martin of Anadarko, Estalee Wilson of Phoenix, Arizona; many nieces and nephews.
