The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Wilkerson, Clark, Fullerton Mattie Lee Wilkerson June 11, 2000 Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday 14-Jun-2000 at the First Baptist Church in Anadarko for Mattie Lee Wilkerson, 99, of Anadarko, who died 11-Jun-2000 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha, Ok. Officiating was her grandson, Rev. Paul Wilkerson, the director of missions in the San Bernardino-Riverside, California area. Burial was in Anadarko's Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home of Anadarko. Mrs. Wilkerson was born 29-Oct-1900 in Pottsboro, Texas to James W. and Vera Jane (Fullerton) Clark. She married Ross Wilkerson 13-May- 1918 in Anadarko. Her family moved to a farm west of Anadarko when she was quite young. She attended school at Square Top. Except for a small period of time, when she and her husband lived in Texas, they resided in the Anadarko area. They farmed until 1940 when they moved into town. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church and belonged to the Rebekah Lodge. She had been a member of the Caddo County Home Demonstration Club and the Anadarko Hobby Club. Preceding her in death was her husband, 14-Feb-1958; her parents, one son, Kennith Wilkerson, 14-Dec-1989. Survivors include two sons, two sisters, one stepbrother, one daughter-in-law, five grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great- grandchildren. --------------------------------------------------------------------
