Walker April 22, 2000 Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, 26-Apr-2000 at the Fairview Cemetery in Apache for Gladys M. Walker, 79, of Sterling, who died 22-Apr-2000 at her home. Officiating was the Rev. Marvin Stuckey, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Sterling. Services were under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home of Fletcher. Mrs. Walker was born 03-Jul-1920 in Sterling, Comanche county, Ok. to John and Cora (Ramsey) Simpson. She married Howard S. Walker 21- Jun-1939 in Oklahoma City. She had lived in Edmond and Oklahoma City for several years before moving back to Sterling in 1970. She was an accountant and had been employed by Weldon Smith of Lawton. She was a member of the Sterling Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, 01-Oct-1986; her parents; three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include one son, one daughter, one sister, four grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren. --------------------------------------------------------------------
