Roger Bennett, pastor, First Baptist Church, Cement, officiating. Mr. Williams died Friday, January 3, 2002, at his residence. Burial was in the Cement Cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home. He was born September 26, 1942, in Goshen, Oregon, to Marlow Woodrow and Bessie Marie Williams. He grew up in the Cement area and attended school. He was married to Darlene Small on June 3, 1978, at Yale, Oklahoma. He worked as a welder, working construction and in the oil fields. He had served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Comanche Tribe. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cement. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Tomasa Gomez, Cyril; four sons, Robert Williams Jr. and Derald Dean Williams, both of Anadarko, Jimmy Marlow Williams, Apache, and Chris Williams, Oklahoma City; two stepdaughters, Carla Aul, Dallas, Texas, and Paula O’Brian, Chickasha; two sisters, Marla Morton, Cyril and Sherrill Pierce, Cement; a brother, Darrell Williams, Cement; 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 10 nephews and one niece. His parents and a sister, Janet Kinder Woods, preceded him in death.
