Winter died at her home here late Monday evening following a severe attack of enfluenza. She became ill Sunday and rapidly grew worse until her death the next day. Funeral services were held at the Christian church at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon by Rev. W.A.R. Lovell and interment was made in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Pitcher & Pitcher funeral directors. Bertie Ragsdale was born in Boone county, Arkansas, August 27, 1887 and died at Carnegie, Okla., January 31, 1927, aged 39 years, 5 months and 4 days. She was united in marriage to James H. Winter September 11, 1910, and to this union three children were born. They are Vera aged 14, Leon 10, and Lewis 5. They with their father survive her. She united with the Christian church in 1919. She was a kind and loving mother and affectionate wife. Besides her husband and children, she leaves her father, J.T. Ragsdale of Holdenville and her brother, W.T. Ragsdale, of Carnegie and her half brother, Wilburn Robertson, of Everton, Arkansas.
