Officiating was Rev. Jay Swallow. A prayer service was held Friday, 30-Jun-2000 at the United Methodist Church in Apache. Burial was in the Fort Sill Apache Cemetery in Fort Sill, Ok. under the direction of the Crews Funeral Home of Apache. Mrs. Weryackwe was born 17-Oct-1928 west of Apache, Ok. She married Martin Weryackwe in December of 1952 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was employed by the Fort Sill Apache Tribe Community Health Program as a representative for 23 years, retiring 20-May-1999. She attended Boone School and Haskell Institute. She was an elder in the Apache Reformed Church and a member of the Girls Handgame Club, the Comanche Little Ponies and the Kowa Gourd Clan. She served on the Fort Sill Apache Housing and Business Committees and was chairman for the annual dance. Preceding her in death was her husband, 27-Feb-1986.
